Oh, what a relief!

The move was not only pain free but a positive pleasure - Mark and his merry removal men (Dave & Darren) lived up to all my hype and they even presented me with a bottle of red wine to welcome me to my lovely new home. I've had a great weekend graciously receiving visitors and a good friend even did a ceremonial space clearing for me so me and my home are clean as a new pin and eagerly looking forward to happy days.

But that's not the relief. I just took delivery of a new leather sofa and found these wise words attached:

"Scars, wrinkles and differences in tone or grain are proof of natural beauty."

I'm doing my "I told you so dance" right now...

Swept off my feet by passion

I admit it. I couldn't withstand it. There was sweet music playing. There were words spoken from the heart. There were tokens of the deepest appreciation. I fell for it - I am, after all, only human - and what woman could resist such a true connection? This is the one my soul was whispering to me don't let this magic slip through your fingers. Were his words true? Every fibre in my body told me they were, that I could trust this man with my most dearest treasure.

And that is how Mark Kirby of M&S Removals got my business...

Rainbow hugs

How many times a year do you see a rainbow? I just saw a perfect one, with the most vibrant colours, reaching all the way across the sky, and hugging it quite perfectly. I stood in the car park of Somerfield (clutching my shopping bags) just gazing - and getting in the way of people trying to exit said car park to get on with their evening. They couldn't quite see what I was seeing and if they had, they would have stopped too and marvelled.

Mind you, I was already in a pretty mind blown state having spent the lunchtime period hugging random strangers on the streets of York.
